Shop costumes, dancewear and accessories direct from the world’s leading dance manufacturers at deeply discounted prices you won’t see anywhere else. Visit with additional vendors from national competitions to local one-of-a-kind dance retailers.

All products are first-come/first-serve. Get there early to shop the best selection. For shoppers wishing to stay overnight and maximize their shopping experience, hotel packages are available.

Who can shop?
The Dance Costume Liquidation Sale is open to dance studio owners for an admission fee of $25. This fee covers entry into the event for the entire weekend. Only dance studio owners may place costume orders. Each studio owner may purchase up to 4 guest passes for their staff at $10 per guest (guests must enter event with studio owner and be 18 or older).

To protect our customers and exhibitors, only Studio Owners and staff approved by the Studio Owner may purchase costumes.
How do I shop?

There is no need to rent a tractor trailer. You will not need to carry your costumes home with you. In fact, each costume company will have minimal samples of items on-site. When you decide on a costume for your dancers, you can confirm size and quantity availability with the costume company representative. Once you are satisfied with the sizing and availability, you must pay in full at that time. Once paid, the costume company will send the order back to their warehouse to ship the costumes to you. All costumes are available for immediate shipment. All costumes are highly discounted (up to 80% off). If you see something you like, there is no way to guarantee availability later on during the sale. If you like it, BUY IT! 

When will my costumes arrive?
Costumes should arrive very quickly because all of these costumes are in-stock and ready-to-ship. You should expect to receive your costumes within 1-2 weeks. Shipping fees will vary by vendor but will be communicated at the time of purchase. Each costume company is checking inventory and sizing in real-time at the event. However, in the unlikely event a item you have purchased is not available, the costume company will give you credit on your account for use with them in the future. All sales are final and there are ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.

Hedy Perna
Presenter

Hedy Perna is a veteran dance educator, choreographer, and studio director based in Hazlet, New Jersey. Together with her husband, Patrick,  and daughter Liza, she leads the family-run Perna Dance Center, marking over 37 years of continuous service to the local community.

Under her leadership and with her faculty and staff, Hedy nurtures a noncompetitive, inclusive environment with a focus on quality education, community, and memorable performances. The studio is known for its dynamic year-end productions, robust performance schedule, and supportive atmosphere.  Believing that Dance is a performing art, she produces and offers several performance opportunities annually and continually works to create new and innovative programs and ideas for her students. 

Hedy enjoys networking with fellow dance educators to help studio owners run an efficient and profitable business without sacrificing dance artistry and education.  Her creative concepts for recitals, sets and scenery, props, parades, and recital organization have made her a favorite speaker among studio owners. As DanceLady CEO, she has presented at Dance Teacher Web, Hollywood Connection, DanceLife Teacher Conference, Dance Teachers of NJ, International Dance Entrepreneurs Association, The Pulse, Dance the Magic, Dance Teacher Summit, Project Motivate, United Dance Merchants of America and various other dance groups and organizations. 

Hedy is active in dance organizations that promote the continuing education of teachers and students.  She is the founder and leader of the DanceFriendz Zoom Group, President Emeritus of Associated Dance Teachers of NJ, and a lifetime member and training school certified member of Dance Educators of America. 

Hedy’s passion remains working in the classrooms of her non-competitive studio. However, her greatest love is reserved for spending time with her husband Patrick and their daughter, Liza – her finest production and now her right hand and Managing Director at the studio, continuing the Perna dance family legacy.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes off the Pennsylvania Turnpike which can easily by accessed by NJ, NY, CT, MA, DE and MD. This venue features free parking with or without a hotel stay, and discounted hotel packages are available if you plan to stay for both days.
